Multiple Media

The Multiple Media addon lets you add many images to a SiteOrigin widget in one step. It adds an Add Media button above the widget’s list of images or frames. Select several images in the Media Library, and the addon adds one item for each image.

It works with these widgets:

  • Image Slider: one frame for each image, with the image as the frame’s Background image.
  • Hero Image: one frame for each image, with the image as the frame’s Background image.
  • Layout Slider: one frame for each image, with the image as the frame’s Background image.
  • Image Grid: one image item for each image.
  • Simple Masonry Layout: one image item for each image.

Requirements

Go to SiteOriginPremium Addons and activate Multiple Media. The addon doesn’t activate the widgets. If a widget you need isn’t active, go to PluginsSiteOrigin Widgets and activate it.

Add Several Images at Once

  1. Open one of the widgets above.
  2. Click Add Media. The button is above the Slider frames, Hero frames or Images list.
  3. In the Media Library, select the images. To select more than one, hold down Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) as you click each image. To select a range, hold down Shift.
  4. Click Set Media.

The addon adds one frame or image item for each image, at the end of the list, after the items that are already there. Open each item to set its other settings, such as a title or a link. To add a single item, use the list’s Add button as usual.
