Once a custom post type has been created and saved, the new post type will be visible in the main WordPress menu. If for example, your new custom post type is called Products, you’ll see a menu item labeled Products in the main WordPress menu. To add a post to the new post type, hover over it and click the Add New link. After entering a title for your new post you can then move on to filling out the Page Builder layout created in the Tools > Post Types interface. Widgets marked as read me won’t be editable but all other widgets will be editable.
Custom taxonomy information can be found in the right column just as it would be when adding a regular WordPress post. In our example case of Products, we might have added a Size custom taxonomy, on the individual product page we can now select one of the size terms, Medium for example.
