The Page Structure section sets the width and the side of the sidebar. Go to AppearanceCustomizeTheme SettingsPage Structure.

Sidebar Width
The width of the sidebar. Type a number and choose a unit, such as % or px. The content area takes the rest of the width. Default: 35%.

Sidebar Position
Show the sidebar on the Right or the Left of the content. Default: Right.

When the Sidebar Shows

The sidebar shows when both of these are true:

  • The Main Sidebar widget area has at least one widget. You can add widgets at AppearanceWidgets.
  • The page layout is Default or Full Width, With Sidebar. Set the layout for one page in Page Settings, and for archives and search results in Page Template Settings.

To remove the sidebar from one page, set its page layout to No Sidebar or Full Width.

Sidebar Position does not change WooCommerce pages, which use the Shop Sidebar Position setting in WooCommerce. Sidebar Width applies to both sidebars.
