The Fonts section sets the four theme fonts and the text, menu and form field colors. Go to AppearanceCustomizeTheme SettingsFonts.

Fonts

Each font field opens a list with a Web Safe group and a Google Webfonts group. After you choose a font, set its Variant (the weight and style) and its Subset (the character set). The field stays empty while North uses its default font.

Main Font
Used for body text. Default: Droid Sans.

Headings font
The font for headings h1 to h6, post titles, the site title and buttons. Default: Montserrat.

Details font
Smaller details use it: post meta, breadcrumbs, blockquotes, pagination, form fields and WooCommerce prices. Default: Droid Serif.

Menu font
Used in the header menu and the mobile menu. Default: Droid Sans.

Text Colors

Dark Text Color
Applied to headings and titles, the site title and sidebar widget titles. Default: #292929.

Medium Text Color
The default color for all body text. Default: #595959.

Light Text Color
Applied to comments, breadcrumbs and the top bar text. Default: #898989.

Meta Text Color
Applied to bylines (the post date, author and comment count) and to the tag backgrounds. Default: #b0b0b0.

Menu Colors

Menu Text Color
The color of header menu links and the search icon. Default: #898989.

Menu Text Hover Color
The color of header menu links and the search icon on hover. Default: #595959.

Menu Text Current Color
The color of the top level menu item for the current page, or the top level item that contains it. Default: #292929.

The mobile menu has its own colors. See Responsive.

Form Fields

Form Field Background Color
The background color of text fields, such as the search and comment fields. Change it if your site uses a dark background. Default: #ffffff.
