Hello, I would like to have a gallery where once the image is clicked on it opens up not just an enlarge version of the image but a small write up too. Also a place for comments to be left which would then show along side the image.

I currently use the default archive pages to display posts of different sub-categories in a neat and presentable format. However, I wanted to know if there was a way for the archive page of the top-level category to display all of the sub-categories within it.
