Prelayout not working properly

Hi, I would like to use one of the layouts but it does not show properly on my website. Instead of columns I get rows and the buttons are vertical instead of horizontal. The headlines seem to be too big and not all the elements of the layout can be seen.

I am having problems with my pagebuilder coloumns collapsing. I have tried to disable all other plugins thinking that there may be a plugin conflict and emptied all local and site caches. Essentially I created a nice iconic menu row with 7 images that are links to different pages, using Visual Editor. I set the row background and the menu icons images the same color and everything looked fine.
