Upgrade of plugin causes page builder pages to become blank

I just installed page builder this week version 2.12. I'm loving using page builder to build the site - but I'm not loving the layout with the extra spacing.

Is there a way to change the header and footer colors for each page individually?
Transparency with pagebuilder
I have build about 5 previous sites using Vantage and Pagebuilder. I just started a new one and I seem to have to go in to each widget and put in a background color.
