How to change editing layout / appearance?

I do not see the same editing screen as the one I see in an excellent YouTube tutorial video I am watching. Image Widget appears to cover menu items

Taking a look at the site here… http://www.topviewsports.com/ For some reason the images to the right which come from a SiteOrgin image widget seem to be on top of my dropdown menu items. The menu to the left doens’t seem to have the same issue with the Youtube video there. Any help?
