Is it possible to make the background different colors for each column. I have 2 columns on this page and would like the left column background to be white and the right column background to remain the color it is.

I am using SiteOrigin Slider on my home page, which looks great on desktop, but the slider is too thin on mobile. I notice there is an option to add custom css on mobile for the slider, but have too little knowledge to know what to change.
