Vantage Masthead/Header height way too large

Hello! I’ve read all other threads regarding this issue and have tried everything posted but it’s still not working. The header is way too hight and does not adjust whatever I do. Help please? Thank you!

I’ve finally fixed my metaslider image quality which I’m very happy about. However, when I load the front page now, the website jumps and the meta slider kind of crops in and out. I don’t know how to explain it…
