Menu Bar overlay on Corp theme

I am trying to have my hero image overlap my menu header as it is show in the themes demo image, i have serched this site for help and read through the documentation. Can you please help. Thanks,

Hi there! I am having trouble making the text on my hero images align in the centre. Everytime I do it the text appears on the left on the image? Am I missing something? Thanks
