Multiple Images Not Being Generated

When I upload an image, it is available in the original size only. No alternate sizes are created/available within WordPress or in the file system. No error messages are given. I have disabled all plugins and uploaded a new image. No luck. This tells me something about the vantage premium theme is conflicting with wordpress…
