Updating from Vantage Premium 2.2 to 2.5.4

We are running 2.2 and it's asking to update to 2.5.4. All the pages are built using Page Builder for the most part.

I've desperately been trying to add a sidebar to the shop page on my website, because how it stands now there is nowhere that shows your cart or tags. I've tried everything from woosidebars, to making sure my cache is cleared and changing my page templates and nothing seems to work, does anyone have suggestions.
