Siteorigin Hero Widget – Fallback image not loading on mobile

Hi I’m using the hero widget to play a video which works on PC etc.

I understand the video will not play on mobile. However reading through some posts it is suggested to upload a photo so that it will load if the video does not play. I have done this however the image does not load on mobile (iPhone X) and instead there it shows a frozen still from the video instead.

Any ideas rectify this? Website below.

    Hi, I Work Here

I’m really sorry about the lack of reply, somehow this thread fell off my to-do list. Thanks for checking back in.

The fallback image will only show if the video isn’t able to render/display. YouTube can be played on mobile devices, just not with autoplay. This means that the video is visible.

One solution would be to use our SiteOrigin Premium Toggle Visibility addon. You could add another Hero for mobile using only an image and hide the Hero with video on mobile devices. If this doesn’t interest you, let me know, I’ll try to suggest an alternative solution.
