Get rid of gray side bars on vantage theme.

I have the website built, and clicked on something and these gray have been there ever since. However I would prefer to eliminate them and have my site stretch the entire browser.

My websites menu is transparent at the top then transitions to 50% white upon scroll. I would like to have the menu text colour as white when the Menu is Transparent, then as the page scrolls and the Menu changes…
