SiteOrigin and Astrid

I just installed Astrid Free (and want to buy Astrid Pro), but am hesitating because of the issue in Sydney. Can I safely download and start using SiteOrigin with Astrid? Is Site Origin also removing Astrid widgets?

I’ve just updated pagebuilder and now the gutter setting in ‘layout’ between panels is no longer working
