just a blank page

I installed vantage but all I see is a blank page. Other themes works perfectly fine. Can anybody tell me whats wrong and how to solve it. Thanks

Vantage Default Masthead Layout Issues

When I change to Default Masthead I have two issues: 1. The space between the logo and the menu underneath is too big - how do I reduce the space above the menu please.
