A link on the homepage to comments for Vantage theme

I have had some readers complain about not being able to find the comment since I started using Vantage. Can the theme creator add something like that that shows the amount of comments as well.

How do I stretch the content of the menu 100% Please. At the moment everything is bounded out to the middle.
