Insert Image in Masthead Header

I want to insert an image in the Masthead Header. But, I want the image to cover the whole area. However, I can’t find the necessary code to make this happen.

Hi there’ I’m new to wordpress and I was wondering if it’s possible to remove a page title as shown above. It shows up on all pages except for the home page.
