Hi Ben,
Okay so the issue here is that the menu isn’t covering the slider, the slider is cropped. Here’s one of the slides for example:
To prevent this you’ll need to adjust your slides image cropping settings. For information on how to do this, please refer to this article.

Hm, I can’t seem to see any large amounts of spacing (you’ve removed all of the default Page Builder spacing already) so I presume you’re referring to the default padding applied to rows. To remove this padding, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustom CSS and add the following CSS:
How does that look? if there’s anywhere specific you would like to adjsut in terms of spacing, let me know and I’ll provide instructions.
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor

You can change the Menu Opacity via CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Please add the following CSS to allow for your menu to be transparent. Adjust the .5 number to adjust the opacity. For more information on rgba, please refer to this MDN doc.
If you would like to change the background color when the menu is stickied (as in, on scroll), please add and adjust the following CSS:
If you would like for the menu to appear on top of the slider on the homepage, please add the following CSS:
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor

Regarding our support. As mentioned over email, oddly, we never received those emails and for that I’m sorry. With that said, all of the emails we have however received have had prompt replies. Alex,
You are great my friend and you help me alot.
I will contact you with any other issues.
Hi Alex,
I have two problems:
1. When I look at my home page the slider is taking the whole width and other pages don't and this happens even when I go a head and choose the full page width. Please advise how I can make all of the pages the same full width as the home page.
2. I tried to choose the homepage builder template but that option is not available in the right column widget of the page.
3. If you look at my pages the circle icons under the slider don't have any gap and there should be an option in the template to adjust that. Please advise.
4. Please look at http://www.yonahealth.com/home-page/data-management-solutions/ as you see this page has the same setting and attributes as other sub pages but has gap on top and button of the slider again. I don't know where the inconsistency comes from. I need to be able to control the gap on top and bottom of the slider.
5. I need to add text to the slider. Any suggestion?
Hi Ben,
Sorry for the delay.
1. This is happening as you’ve set your slider (on your homepage) to stretch. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceHome Page and click Edit as Page. Scroll down to the Page and untick Stretch Page Meta Slider. Alternatively, enable this setting for other pages if you wish to have them be full width. That or use the Meta Slider full-width functionality – which is applied to the slider itself rather than the post/page.
2. I’m not too sure I understand what you mean. Could you please clarify what right column widget you’re referring too?
Regardless, you can use the home page layout by importing it into page builder. To do this, click the layouts button. Select and insert Default Home layout. For more information please refer to this page.
3. There’s no option setting to do this via the widget settings itself. To clarify, the Circle icons are legacy widgets and we don’t recommend using them (they’re kept purely for legacy reasons). We instead recommend using the SiteOrigin Features widget instead, which is included with the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Once installed, please navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets and activate the Features widget.
Regardless, can you please clarify what gap you’re referring too. Sorry about this!
4. This is due to you adding the slider via a widget rather than the Page Meta Slider box – which bypasses said gap. I would recommend removing the widget in favor of the Page meta Slider box. If you would rather not, scroll down to the Page Settings box and untick Masthead Bottom Margin – that’ll remove the gap.
5. Meta Slider allows this in the premium version as it adds a new slide type, Layer Slides. Another option would be to use the SiteOrigin Hero Image Widget, which is included with the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Once installed, please navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets and activate the Hero Image.
Hi Alex,
My website is
http://Www.yonahealth.com
1.Please let me know if you have any suggestion for blurb to replace my blurb in my homepage.
2.please let me know how I can get read of the circle icon huge gaps between the icons and links like Learn more or more and the texts.
Please provide me some suggestion.
3. How can I have a page for the form user that says thank you for submitting your form and contacting us etc.
Hi Ben,
1. Are you referring to the “WE HELP CUSTOMERS THROUGHOUT THE HEALTHCARE ECOSYSTEM.” section? If so, no, not really no. I do however suggest adding more overall text elsewhere on the page as currently there’s more design (fancy stuff) than content.
2. This spacing is being caused by the following CSS you added to WP Admin > Appearance > Custom CSS:
I would highly recommend removing this CSS as it’ll cause you further issues but if you would rather not, please add the following CSS after it:
3. This is dependent on your contact form plugin. I would recommend giving this article a read to give you an idea of how to do this.
By the way, as you’re a premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on your Page: Dashboard. Please reference this thread and include your SiteOrigin order key in the email.
Thanks Alex,
Can you tell what to use to adjust the padding on number 2 that you pointed and said not to use CSS. Hoe do I control the spacing then?
I saw you had this nice option in your custom CSS to find the right spot and add CSS to modify the pages.
Also any suggestion on a good blurb plug in?
Thanks again
Hi Ben,
You can still use CSS, you just need to be more specific with your selectors so it only affects what you intend for it to affect (it’s currently affecting everything). Can you please clarify where that CSS was meant to effect?
We do. I would recommend giving the getting started video a watch but please understand that you need to be specific with your selectors as the CSS generated by default (without selecting more selectors) is quite vague.
Okay, so WordPress refers to blurbs as excerpts (I know that’s technically wrong but that’s just what they call it) and includes it by default. I would recommend giving this article and this article a read.
I saw that my circle icons were attached to the layer above them on all of the pages and there was no padding then I went a head and created the css to create some space there.
Any other ways?
Hi Ben,
For circle icons I would use the following CSS:
This CSS will only affect circle icons.
Is it a good recommendation to use your CSS editor ?
If we upgrade your plugins or themplate in the future, do we run into any mess?
What do you recommend for backup plugin?
Alex,
I have added your widget " contact us form." And tried to use it on my website but I don't know how to set it in the contact page form that I currently have which looks messed up on my About/ contact us page.
Please instruct if And how I can add it to my contact page. I saw the video tutorial but that shows how to edit t but doesn't show how you add it to the actual page. How do you assign it to certain page?
2. How can I design a footer section and apply it to all of the pages with some links etc.
Hi Ben,
1. Yes. The CSS is stored separately to the theme so there’s no need to worry about losing when updating the theme.
2. I recommend VaultPress, but it’s not free. Outside of that, I would give this article a read for suggestions.
3. The contact form is a widget. You can add it to any page builder powered page (like your contact us page) by clicking Add Widget and then search for SiteOirgin Contact and insert the contact form.
4. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceWidgets and set your footer up as desired. I personally would recommend adding a layout builder (which is page builder in widget form) to your footer widget area as it’ll allow you more control over of it.
