Managed to restore through revisions, Phew, but curious to know how I managed to switch to Classic Editor and how to switch it back to SiteOrigin’s Page Builder
Hi Roland,
Thanks for getting in touch. It’s great to hear you were able to recover the page by restoring a revision. It’s hard to say why this happened, but it’s likely due to a recent edit. If it happens again, please note what the most recent change was and reply mentioning what the change was.
Page Builder is a layer on top of the WordPress editor – which can be either the Classic or Block Editor. To enable Page Builder in the Classic Editor, click the Page Builder tab. For the Block Editor, you can add Page Builder to the page by adding a SiteOrigin Layouts Block to the page.
Kind regards,
Alex
Hi Roland, if you aren’t using the Block Editor for any of your pages, the editor seen in your first screenshot, then you can go to PluginsAdd New, search for and install the Classic Editor plugin. That might help prevent this edge case from occurring.
Thanks
