Layout builder widget(nested builder widget) breaks sometimes

Hello,

I was using site origin page builder plugin to build static pages in my site because of its flexibility..

But recently i gone through a problem regarding layout builder widget it is when i edit page – some times all Layout builder widgets are converted back to siteorigin editor widgets and all my work is goned

Any idea about this?

    Is the issue happening in the Classic or Block Editor?

    We are having classic editor but i choose to work with Page builder only

    This is happens very rarely this is the third time i seen this happened with page builder in 6 months

    Thanks for the update. Is the entire page dropping out of the Page Builder tab into the Text tab and then when you click the Page Builder tab, the content is being shifted into an Editor widget?

    Page builder view is not dropping when i update i’m still in page builder view but the LayoutBuilder widget is converted back to Text editor widget automatically when page is reloaded

    Is the Layout Builder the only widget on the page or are there other widgets present?

    There are other widgets also Custom + Inbuild widges they are okay..

    The issue is only with Layout Builder

    Thanks. Testing will be challenging if the issue can’t be reliably recreated. Please, export the layout via LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout and send us a copy of the JSON file. WeTransfer/Dropbox etc. is an easy way to do that. No email address is required, just the link posted here.

    Hi,

    I’ve run a few tests and I’m having trouble replicating this issue also. Is this issue only affecting your custom widgets, or is it affecting other widgets also? I ask as it’s possible it may be related to your custom widgets (although what could be causing this I’m unsure). If it’s only happening for your custom widgets, would it be possible for you to provide me with a copy of the code for one of the widgets you’re having a trouble with?
