Image in Menu on homepage

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

Hi. I’ve serached the forums but i can’t seem to find what i’m looking for. I’m using the Vantage theme and Page builder to create a new website and now i want the following:

On the landing/home page i want a background image in the masthead/menu. On the other pages i dont want this to repeat.

What i’ve done so far but without any succes:

Create a new Masthead PHP so i can edit and insert the masthead without affecting the rest of the pages. Whilst doing this i was thinking that there must be a better/easier way do achieve this.

As an example of what i want: https://esmeefranken.com/

(actually, some of the previews of the Page Builder also show an image to the top)

    Hi Michel

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you’re using the Vantage page slider to insert your image below the menu and if you’re using the Logo in Menu masthead layout then you can try the snippet listed here Page: CSS Snippets. Instructs for where to insert CSS snippets are at the top of the page. To make CSS classes specific to the home page, please, see Post: Unique Page Styling with Custom CSS Body Classes.
