I use a lot of the icons you provide. A lot of them don’t work anymore. How come?
Icon sets don’t work anymore since last update.

Hi, thanks for posting. Font Awesome was updated, in all the cases we’ve seen of this so far, it was necessary to clear caching at some level, site, browser, hosting or CDN. If you’d like us to take a look at a page, please send a link.
Thanks,
here are some links:

And many more. I’ve tried to use other icons from different sets, but a lot don’t seem to work
Thanks. I can’t replicate this locally. Please, check to see if there is a working baseline to be found at http://www.stichtingsina.nl/wat-is-je-leeftijd/ by temporarily deactivating all non-SiteOrigin plugins in one go. Is there a change in the problem in this state?
Tried your suggestion, no difference. I didn’t install any new plugins and yesterday everything just seemed fine. Since today some icons are missing.
Thanks.
Please, edit the page, click LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout and send us the layout via Dropbox/Drive or WeTransfer.

Thanks. Here is the view in my localhost: https://imgur.com/a/7yr58Hk.
Does your cloudvps.nl account have Varnish cache enabled? Can that be cleared?
Another idea is to check to see if the icon is visible when editing the widget.
Hi Guorilla,
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a closer look at your setup?

Thanks for the details :)
Are able to edit pages ok? This is what I see when trying to edit a page, the admin is ok in the Dashboard view and at Settings > General but not at Pages or when editing an individual page.
@ my side everything seems fine
Hi Guorilla,
I just tried to take a closer look at your website and I’m getting the same issue as Andrew. Have you received any other reports of this type of issue?
no problems over here. I can edit every page without any problems. I’m using chrome browser.

Hi Guorilla,
Thanks. I’m still experiencing the display issues pictured in the screenshot Andrew provided but I was able to access the SiteOrigin Features widget on your Boven de 18 page. The icon is displaying without issue in the editor but on the frontend, it’s output incorrectly for some reason.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex,
I’ve tried all the things you’ve mentioned in your last post, but nothing has changed. Still the same issue with the icons.
Hi Guorilla,
Thanks for trying. Does this issue occur if you create a new SiteOrigin Features with the previously selected icons present?
Hi Guorilla,
Andrew was able to run the above test and, unfortunately, this issue remained. Would it be possible for us to make a backup of your website? This will allow us to run a couple of tests against the code of your website to identify the source of this issue without it affecting your website.
Hi :) Thanks for the wait. We’ve isolated this issue to PHP 5.2. Please, ask your hosts or use your hosting control panel to upgrade your server. WordPress recommends PHP 7.3+. Upgrading your PHP version should resolve this problem. Thanks again.
Thanks guys for the effort. Will sort this out and see if it works! Much appreciated!
For sure :) Let us know how it goes.
