Hi
I am just starting today with the Vantage Theme and doing good so far, except that I cannot figure out how to set up my header over all pages and posts.
That must be easy doing but I cannot find how to do it…
So far, it only appears on my home page.
Thank you for any tip with this dumb issue.
Gerald
Hi Gerald
Thanks for reaching out.
Try editing each page and check that you haven’t enabled the Hide Masthead setting in the Page Settings section in the right column Page: Page Settings.
Hi Andrew
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately that does not solve my problem. I checked several pages and the Hide Masthead box is never checked.
This is a site I am trying to improve for someone. The previous theme was 13 years old (yes thirteen) and had never been updated. Could that be the cause of my issue and would there be anything to do about it ?
Thanks for checking. If possible, please, send a link to one of the pages impacted and we’ll take a look. It’s unlikely the previous theme used is an issue.
Here is the draft of the home page with the header image: https://staging.scuba-dream.ch/accueil/
and here is one without image: https://staging.scuba-dream.ch/activites-de-luxe/
It looks like I have to select the slider for each page in order to have it showing; not a problem with new pages but that site currently has over 130 pages and it would be a bit harrowing to have to do this page by page.
Thanks for the links.
The home page contains a page slider, page sliders are manually selected for each page. If you’d like to use a conventional header for the site you can go to AppearanceCustomizeTheme SettingsLayoutMasthead Layout and change that setting to Default.

Okay, thanks a lot.
Sure, no problem.
