Hiding a Widget? Custom row layout as a Saved Row Type

There are 2 things I would like to see added:
a – The option to hide a widget- the block would turn red when hidden
b – The ability to save a custom row layout – which you can then be retrieve as you would retrieve a widget type.

Currently to get around this I created a page named, “Archived Blocks.” This allows me to archive custom rows (which are populated with widgets) as a preferred template, example: Breaking News. If there could be a library like there are for widgets, for row type templates, that would be grand.

Best wishes,

wb

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi wb

    Thanks for posting.

You can hide widgets, cells, or rows using the Toggle Visibility addon. More on that in the documentation: Page: Toggle Visibility.

A library would be super handy, thanks for suggesting that, I’ll pass your feedback onto the team. The Mirror Widgets addon is similar but not quite the same: Page: Mirror Widgets. The addon does support full layouts and isn’t just for single widgets.
