    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Enf

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Do you perhaps have a public URL where we can look at what’s going on?

    THank you Andrew,

    Private Snippet
here is the page i question. As you see “continue reading” string remains in english. The same issue with search as you click on search icon the frase is in english.
Do I need to upload some fresh .po file? or What could cause this issue?
I use fresh Corp child theme.

    best regards

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for the link.

Continue Reading will need to be manually translated at CustomizeTheme SettingsBlog. The search phrase must be translated using Loco Translate or a non-plugin-based method. You can see the missing IT strings here https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/it/default/wp-themes/siteorigin-corp/. Loco Translate is the quickest option, in my opinion.

    Hi, I Work Here

If you’re using the SiteOrigin Blog Widget and not the default blog page option in Corp, then going to Customize > Theme Settings > Blog is unnecessary. The Continue Reading string setting is located in the premium addon: Page: Blog. To translate the string, you could also use Loco Translate. To confirm, the search phrase will be found in the SiteOrigin Corp pot file. The Continue Reading string from the Blog Widget will be found in the SiteOrigin Widgets pot file. Thanks.

Thank you Andrew, could you please make it clear – the theme isnot fully translated to italian so thats why it needs to be manually translated with Loco Translate?

    Hi, I Work Here

    SiteOrigin Corp: Search String
The theme is 22% translated into Italian. The full-screen search string hasn’t yet been translated.

    SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle: Continue Reading
The Widgets Bundle is 30% translated into Italian. The Continue Reading string is available for translation in the Widgets Bundle but hasn’t been translated yet.

I translated Search string with Loco but fail translating the Continue Reading string – I translate it with Loco but it doesnt change anything..
    What am I doing wrong?

Is there a way to contribute to translation?

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi, glad to hear you’re making progress :)

You’re using the Blog Widget; please confirm that you’re translating the Continue Reading string from the Widgets Bundle, not Corp.

You can contribute via the links above. Thanks.

oh yes, now I got it. thank you Andrew!

After I contribute to translation it will be added automatically to the next theme upgrade?

    Hi, I Work Here

As far as I’m aware, translations have to be reviewed by the translation team after submission. Thanks.
