Clone: Row or Clone: Widget

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hi SiteOrigin team,

Lovin’ the pagebuilder and widgets plugin, don’t know how I didn’t know about you guys after working with other page builders.

I was wondering if there’s an option to clone rows or widgets.
Don’t think I want to recreate similar widgets every time I’m working on a new page.

If not, no worries – but I would love to see this in a new update!

    Hi Alecia

Thanks for reaching out and for giving SiteOrigin a try, glad to hear it’s going well.

There are a few options to choose from. If you’re creating a new page you can click Layouts in Page Builder then Clone: Pages or Clone: Posts. You can clone a page or page and replace all existing content or replace above or below your existing content.

To copy a row, right-click on the row and select the Copy Row menu item. You can do the same for any widget. Copy/paste actions aren’t limited to the page you’re working on.

More on these actions here Post: Page Builder Copy Paste.

If you’re interested in maintaining content in one area and having changes mirrored to one or several pages, we offer the Mirror Widgets addon in SiteOrigin Premium. Page: Mirror Widgets
