Changing Widget Font, Size & Color – Theme: Flash Pro

Hi Guys,
SiteOrigin Page Builder has integrated with Flash Pro so I decided to give it a spin. I have searched the web extensively for ways to change fonts, font sizes and font colors in Widgets with most responses referring to either css classes or css styles in attributes. I have tried a few css options but cannot get the results.

I have implemented 4 x FT: CTA Widgets that are just what I wanted except I cannot change the Font or Size for the ‘Call to Action Title’ or the ‘Call to Action Subtitle, only the color (Does FT: mean the widget is for Flash Theme?).

I also tried using the SiteOrigin Call to Action Widget and it gives much better customization options however I have placed a background Image in the ‘Design Tab’ on the right and the image does not show on the front-end. It will only show background color.

I was also looking to see if SiteOrigin Pro version has better font customization options but it is still unclear to me if that is the case. Could you please help me to move forward with my SiteOrigin Page Builder web design. Thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Patrick

    Thanks for posting.

FT most likely means the widget is added by the theme. In this case, it would be best to chat to theme support about the widget options as it’s their widget.

I would have recommended switching to our widget. Can you perhaps send a link to a page showing the background image problem so we can take a look? Alternatively, can you add the image to the row rather than the widget? Is the result different if you do?

If you scroll down on this page: Download: SiteOrigin Premium you’ll see the addons in SiteOrigin Premium. If you want to see exactly which settings are added by each addon, it’s best to check the documentation. For example, the options added by the CTA addon are: Page: Call To Action. The other addon documentation is in the left column.

tl;dr: It sounds like if we solve the background image issue in the SiteOrigin CTA widget, you’ll mostly be on your way. If you could send a link, we can take a look.

Hi Andrew and thanks for your reply!

This is a staging site and is a duplicate of it’s live site so I keep it in Maintenance Mode to prevent duplicate content from being picked up.

I have created a login for you so that you can view the home page I am creating…

    Private Snippet

You will see the top row of 4 FT CTA Widgets which are perfect except I cannot change the font & size of the header.
On the next row I have created a SiteOrigin CTA Widget and added the background Image… as you can see, no image.

If you want to look at the back-end editor, the home page is “”Welcome to the White Eagle Lodge in Australasia”

Thanks again for your help :-)

    Hi Patrick

    Thanks for your reply.

This is a public forum so it’s best to not send confidential details. I’ve wrapped your info a private tag to remove them from public view.

I’m unable to edit the SiteOrigin CTA because of the issue listed here: Thread: Date appearing when trying to edit widgets in Page Builder. If you have a moment, please take a look at the link, the fix is quite quick to apply.

    Thanks :)

    Hi Andrew,
    I worked it out…
If you untick “use default background colors” and ‘clear’ both ‘background color’ settings, the background image appears :-)
