Cannot get masthead header to adjust on mobile

Hi, I have set up a site with a large masthead header and it won’t resize on mobile.

Home Page

I have done this previously on https://loveaduckie.co.uk/ and it worked fine. Please can you advise how to fix it.

    Would it work to add the image as the logo? That’s how the image has been added on the Love A Duckie site.
