Please help..have issues with post/blog/categories in vantage theme

Hi all, 1) I cannot add more than two categories: when i try to add a third category the theme is unresponsive. what do i do. 2) my posts have a featured image option and when i set the featured image and update it, it does not display on my website. 3) my screen options…
