Hello, there is an issue with SiteOrigin Video Player. Video is set as Self hosted with one item to YT. Then the video cannot play. Will you check this and do correction, please?
I do not want to use externally hosted because bottom panel to another YT videos. This is unwanted.

    I’ve investigated this issue and come up with a fix. This fix will be included in a future Widgets Bundle release.

    Hi, the following beta release restores the ability to add YouTube videos as an external URL within a Self Hosted selected video: https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/so-widgets-bundle.1.68.2-beta.zip. Once the ZIP file is on your desktop it can be installed from PluginsAdd NewUpload Plugin. I don’t think it solves the issue you’re trying to avoid though as I’m still seeing recommended videos on pause.

    I tested this beta in side WP project and it looks working for this issue. I did not put this to production yet.

    It is possible to play videos. Just there is an issue that Hide Player Controls is not functional and controls are visible all time and also link to YT and share arrow is visible.
