Widgets not loading in the editor

Hi,

For some reason, the widgets are not loading in the Page Builder editor.

I’m running the last WordPress version, I’ve deactivated all other plugins but the Page Builder, my theme (Genesis) is completely compatible… so I’ve no idea on what can be wrong. I’m using the page builder plugin on several websites and never got this issue.

I’ve recorded a quick video so that you can see the issue I’m getting:

I would really appreciate if you can give me an input on how to fix this.

Thanks for such an awesome plugin :)

Best
Diego

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Diego,

To clarify, does this happen for a single specific widget or does this affect all widgets?
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your response but no needs to worry anymore.

It seems like it was a WordPress issue rather than something wrong with the plugin. For some reason, the default WP editor wasn’t working and seems like that’s what was affecting the SiteOrigin widgets.

If other people have the same issue I had, this is how I fixed it:

    1. Create a new folder in the FTP/hosting and install a new WordPress
    2. Copy the plugins, themes and uploads from the old folder to the new one
    3. You can use the same MySQL database so no needs to change this
    4. Link the domain to the new folder and if everything is working fine then remove the old folder

Before doing this I tried several options like updating WP, removing all WP files and adding a completely new WP, deactivating all plugins, etc. but none of that worked for me. The only thing that worked was to install a new WP in a separate folder :)

Once again, thanks for your awesome plugin :)
