I’ve checked the columns box in settings display, but no columns appear. When I click on the widget option, no widgets appear to add to the sidebar. I assume no sidebar is evident until widgets are added.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Columns:

    The Origami columns meta box applies to regular content insert via the Visual tab. Try inserting a big block of text as a test. If you’ve requested three columns, three columns of text will be rendered.

    Widgets:

    Origami unfortunately only supports a footer widget area. That’s accessible from Appearance > Widgets. Origami was kept minimal by design. If you need a theme with a sidebar and a few more features we could migrate your license to Vantage at no charge: https://siteorigin.com/theme/vantage/
