    Hi Markyroson,

    We’re currently transitioning from multiple products to single product business model (which will include Vantage Premium and many additional features on top of that). So to prevent any confusion / frustration during this time we’ve made changes to prevent purchases for the time being.

    To clarify, Vantage Premium and our new product, SiteOrigin Premium, are separate. SiteOrigin Premium will be as affordable as Vantage Premium is but it’ll offer so much more in terms of functionality and overall support. We estimate that SiteOrigin Premium within a week!

      Unfortunately, I cannot publicly state at the moment. Sorry! :( SiteOrigin Premium will however be released within the week.

      It should also be noted that Vantage Premium is no longer for sale.

    Okay, I am confused. A few weeks ago by email we were informed that there also would be an mayor update for the premium version of Vantage. (The free version was updated at that time?) Now I have to pay for the upgrade of the theme? Or doesn’t the Vantage premium get the upgrade for free like the free version?

      Hi Hetty

      We used some feedback from our release of the free version of Vantage, to ensure that the premium update is as stable as possible. Because it’s such a big update, we wanted to make sure it’s as well tested as possible.

      At the moment, we’ve released the update to about 5% of our users, we’ll continue rolling it out to all users as we’re sure it’s fully stable.

    How will this affect current Vantage Premium users?

      Hi Dave

      We’ll continue updating and supporting Vantage Premium along with our development of the free version of Vantage. SiteOrigin Premium is a plugin that adds premium features to our themes, as well as our other plugins, so it’s a very different offering.

      This allows us to offer much better customer support. While in the past we were only technically selling features and support for our themes, we’re now offering features and support for our plugins too. Plugin support is what most people needed.

    Hi,
    I’ve read through this message thread and would like some clarification. I’ve recently installed a new WordPress based site with the Vantage (free) theme. I have previously paid for Vantage Premium and would like to unlock the current install.

    Please advise.

      Hi Craig,

      Vantage Premium needs to be installed manually.

      To obtain the latest version you’ll need to either input your order email into this form or send us an email to premium support requesting that the latest version be sent to you.

      Once you have the latest version, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceThemes and change to a non-Vantage theme, then click delete Vantage. Click Add NewUpload Theme and upload / activate Vantage Premium. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, and then Theme Design > Premium and input your order code.

    Is Vantage version 2.5.4 the latest version?

    I’m asking because just now, on a client’s site, in Appearance > themes > Vantage I noticed invitation to update with a click. Which I did. The site is now running version 2.5.4

    Do I need to do anything further?

      Hi Len,

      Yes, at the time of writing, Vantage 2.5.4 is the latest version. You do not need to do anything else until another update is released (which will likely be within the week).
