Video is there but no visual

Disclosure: I’m a beginner to blogging and stumbling my way through this stuff.

I used the SO video widget to add a short 7 second video of mine (not youtube or vimeo) to a post and on my desktop it shows a gray rectangle where the video should be but no image. The play button is there and when you click it something plays because the progress bar moves but no video. It does play fine on my iphone.
Also, on the desktop the player is quite big, can it be made smaller?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The video seems to play normally on my computer, I’m using Chrome. Does the issue persist if you try another browser on your computer?

    The SiteOrigin Video widget doesn’t currently offer a width or height setting. You could use the SiteOrigin Editor widget and insert the video using a video shortcode with width and height parameters.
