Vantage Social Media + SiteOrigin Editor in header

Hi,

I have another website that I am working on and this time I am trying to get both the Vantage Social Media and SiteOrigin Editor in header, but they don’t fit into what see to be “header-sidebar”. Is there a way I can put them into the space but not in the sidebar or possibly change the width of the sidebar? I should explain that the client wants both the social media icons and the phone number to fit (which it does if I don’t want to be able to read it… I want the size of the phone number to be about the same size as the orange type in the logo and possibly to have a font awesome phone icon next to it too.)

Here is a link to the site . It’s very much a work in progress still, so I can’t guarantee it will look the same if you go in there more than once and at the moment it is really only the home page that I am trying to get to work.

Thank you

Cheers

Lyndelle

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lyndelle,

I’d like to help you with this, but unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.

We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.

As an alternative, consider rebuilding your masthead inside of a Layout Builder as this will give you more control over your header looks. For reference, a layout builder is SiteOrgin Page Builder in widget form and adding a widget to the masthead widget area will hide the logo and header sidebar in favor of just the contents of the masthead widget area. You can find the Masthead widget area by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceWidgets.

If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.

Okay, thanks. I’ll give it a swing… unfortunately, I can’t afford to hire a developer. The work I do is for family, friends and non-profit organisations.
