Hi there, I purchased Vantage Premium only to have another set of plugins (SiteOrigin Premium) to come out with most of the plugins that I already have with the addition of couple others e.g. Image overlay. Please advise on the following:
• can the image overlay be added to my Vantage Premium be added OR upgraded to SiteOrigin Premium bundle for free? It’s a crap customer experience to pay again for one widget included in a newer bundle. Plus I don’t want to continue paying a subscription for one widget ie. SiteOrigin Premium
• and if I have to buy:
– will it work with Vantage theme? And not overwrite my existing site or Vantage Premium bundle?
– can I pay a one time fee since I have already purchased a ‘Premium’ Siteorigin product ie. Vantage Premium widget bundle
– and does image overlay allow navigation? e.g. another page, url
Please advise along with any other possible options/suggestions.

– Updates for Vantage Premium were discontinued in 2018; if you’d like to receive theme updates as we release them you can switch to the version of Vantage hosted on WordPress.org. All the formerly premium settings are included in the version hosted on WordPress.org except for Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments. Assuming you haven’t edited Vantage at a code level, you can switch to the .org hosted version by temporarily switching to any other theme, deleting Vantage and then re-installing Vantage from AppearanceThemesAdd New using the search field at the top right of the page to search for Vantage. Updates for Vantage are usually released once or twice a month.
– Unfortunately, we don’t have a free upgrade path from Vantage Premium to SiteOrigin Premium. A 30% discount code can be be provided. SiteOrigin Premium is our only premium offering and provides the funds necessary to support our range of free plugins and themes. We stopped selling Vantage Premium in 2016. Updates and email support for Vantage Premium were continued for another two years until 2018. Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments are the only two features of Vantage Premium not included in the version of Vantage hosted on WordPress.org which we update regularly.
– I understand not wanting to renew annually for one addon. An option is to let your SiteOrigin Premium license expire after a year. If there are SiteOrigin Premium updates you’d like to make use of in the future, you can renew your license.
– SiteOrigin Premium is a plugin, it works with any theme.
– SiteOrigin Premium is sold with an annual license either renewed automatically via a subscription or manually. An active license provides for updates to the SiteOrigin Premium plugin as we release them and email support.
