Vantage Free: sticky menu bar sticks out beyond page on scrolling up

I built websites for two small nonprofits/charities using Vantage Free. When I select Theme Settings>Layout>Responsive Layout, the sticky main menu bar sticks out to the right beyond the page boundary when scrolling up and the menu bar touches the top of the browser window (see carsonnm.org). I have tried deactivating plugins, emptying caches, and deleting custom CSS but that did not seem to fix the problem.

I also have two websites built using Vantage Premium that do not display this problem. I’ve gone through all Customization options to try to match the Vantage Free sites as closely as possible to the Vantage Premium sites but just haven’t been able to resolve the issue. I’d appreciate any help to fix this.

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi, thanks for reaching out :)

If you remove the custom styles from your child theme stylesheet the issue should resolve.

The problem is that you’ve adjusted the site container width (reduced) and the sticky menu max-width hasn’t been adjusted to match. We’re unable to assist with custom development within our free support scope. We are under our SiteOrigin Premium support scope. If you need a hand in future with challenges of this nature, please consider email support. Thanks again.

Thank you very much. I removed the container width adjustment and that fixed the problem (I had the same adjustment in my premium site and didn’t have the problem there, so didn’t think to try deleting it in the free site).
