Using Vantage, can’t remove Vantage picture on homepage

I’m trying to create a simple website for the first time, just using Vantage theme and basic WordPress tools.
Between the menu and my text in the homepage, there is a stock Vantage photo slider and I can’t see how to remove it. Can anyone help?
