Unwind theme Mobile Menu

By MSOS, 6 months ago. Last reply by Alex S, 6 months ago.

We just installed the free version of Unwind theme as it appeared to meet our needs with specifically searching for a mobile menu. Unfortunately, after clearing cache, used CSS, the old DB and any which Rocket pr W3 plugin offered, we still can not get our mobile menu to work on Making Sense of Security . com.
Please advise how we may enable the hamburger menu to open/work on mobile devices.
Thank you.

I’ve had a look at your website and your website is referencing a number of files that don’t exist. One of the files affected adds the mobile menu in Unwind so that issue will need to be resolved for the mobile menu to work. All of these files are cached versions of existing files so it’s possible that you’re facing a general issue related to your caching plugin. I recommend disabling your caching plugin via its settings – disabling it via the plugin interface will not disable the cache. You can see a screenshot of that here.

if that doesn’t help, I recommend running a plugin conflict test.

You can start by disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue. You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins. So just to confirm, double-check if the issue is coming up while all other plugins are disabled.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Kind regards,

    Hello Alex,

Thank you so much for the response. I have been working o it solo trying to figure out what it is. I use AMP and no matter which theme I choose, AMP disables mobile menus because of JS. I can not disable AMP because I have secondary pages indexed for AMP. Further, our ads are AMP responsive.

We also use Cloudflare. I just reviewed some of Cloudflare to see if there may be some other level of cache to help.

I had the caching level set to standard. I changed it to “Ignore query string”. And voila’! It worked!!!

My mobile menu is back and now Unwind theme is working sooo perfectly!!

Thank you again for all your help! And thank you SiteOrigin for creating a great theme!

    Have a great holiday!
