Unwanted space in .main-navigation…

Hi,

Me again… same site http://kingstonbuilding.com.au/.

This time the problem seems to be with the Main Navigation. A space has appeared at the top of the container above all of the menu tabs except Home (well it has the space but it also shows the blue hover colour right to the top, which the others don’t).

I designed the site to have the Main Navigation the height of the menu tabs (not the way it is on the Home button), and it was doing that until yesterday. I don’t think I changed anything on the site that should have affected this and cannot seem to get it to behave the way I want. I tried removing padding-top from the .main-navigation with Custom CSS, and whilst it did change the overall height of the navigation panel, it adversely affected the blue hover colour and drop down menu size.

I am not sure what to do to fix it. Can you possibly help?

Cheers

Lyndelle

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lyndelle,

Have you managed to resolve this issue? I ask as I’ve had a look at your website and I can’t seem to see the additional space above the menu items. If you have, awesome! I’m glad to hear you were able to resolve this issue. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be of assistance this time. Please be sure to post another thread if you have any other questions.

if you haven’t, would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot of what you see? Please note that we’re currently unable to process attachments so you’ll need to upload your screenshot to a third party image hosting site like Imgur or vgy.me.

For reference, here’s what I see:

Yep. I have managed to sort it out. It was an error in a bit of code I was using in the header text to make the phone number automatically recognised as a phone number. I think I might have left out a close on a bit of code. I couldn’t see what I was doing when I put it in there, but someone else found it, by copying and pasting. I don’t why I didn’t think of doing that… doh! Thanks for getting back to me though.
