Hi, I seem to be having a similar issue that I’ve seen posted around. The error code is popping up “Unknown error. Failed to load the form. Please check your internet connection, contact your web site administrator, or try again later.”
I used the Duplicate Post add-on to, well, duplicate a post and save some time with all the formatting. Now I am getting this error on the duplicate as well as the original post. I haven’t looked elsewhere yet. I’d rather not delete that add-on if there’s a work around.
Please help!
Hi Dr,
Preface: The unknown Error message is actually a generic error message we added when the Widget or Row/Widget styles sidebar isn’t able to load. This prevents the loading circle from infinitely appearing.
Can you please open a page where this is happening, and open a widget where this error appears. Could you please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide on how to access your browser console.
Hi Alex,
One of the blog posts can be found at http://freemeded.org/medical-board-review-and-q-banks/ and the other post (that I attempted to duplicate) won’t even allow me to edit any content so I haven’t been able to publish it yet.
The published page says:
jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
jquery.cycle.min.js?ver=1.11.8:1 [cycle2] –c2 init–
vantage-icons.woff:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
vantage-icons.ttf:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
I’m not sure if it helps, but the published page appears normal when accessing from outside. I’m just not able to edit any content or use Visual Editor in any way.
Hi Dr,
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

It should be set up now. Let me know if there are any issues.

Hi Dr,
I’ve had a look around and unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue. Is this happening with a specific widget and/or on a specific page?
Hi Alex, it seems that one of the web designers I had helping out with a particular page had installed another page editor. Once he deleted that,
everything started working again! Guess there was a conflict between those.
Thanks for taking a look. I'm contemplating going Premium in case something like this happens again. Being down for a week really threw off my time table for somethings I'm working on.
