    Hi matthewgorst

Sorry to hear about the hassle.

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your upgrades are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

    Hi Andrew,

The same was happening when trying to update Vantage Theme also.
I tried changing the permissions, but this did not work also. I had to re-name the plugin and theme folders and then re-install the plugin and theme completely.

Thanks for the feedback. Assuming you installed the latest versions we won’t know if the problem is persisting until there is another update. Let us know if it happens again and I’ll investigate other options to resolve.

Sorry if I am duplicating this thread, I have already posted this question before finding this discussion. I also have the same issue when updating siteorigin ver. 102 to newest ver. 103.

I am working with localhost/website/ with WAMP64 in a Windows Desktop Environment, could you please, help?

Update Failed: Could not create directory. siteorigin-premium/addons/plugin/contact-form-fields/fields

    Sincerely,
