I have Vantage premium and I saw that there was an update but after I updated my plugins, the theme update disappeared.

Sorry to hear you’ve run into a problem here. Perhaps try manually updating. You can do this by:
1. Retrieving the ZIP file download link using this form: https://siteorigin.com/orders/. The email will be sent to your purchasing PayPal email address which you must also enter into the form.
2. Manually update with the ZIP file using the following instructions: https://siteorigin.com/basics/updating-theme-from-zip/
Once complete, ensure your order number is correctly inserted in the new location for the order number field at Appearance > Theme Settings > Premium.

As long as your Custom CSS is stored under Appearance > Custom CSS or in another Custom CSS then it’ll be safe. Doesn’t hurt to make a backup of that file from time to time.
