Two color footer

I am trying to make a two color footer, with a about a 60/40 ratio split (both sides should be one solid color). I attempted to accomplish this with the layout builder widget inside the footer but the result not what I am looking for as there is still a blue border.

Is there a way to accomplish this with by adding custom CSS?

    Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on the forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.

    We highly recommend using https://codeable.io/.

    No worries, I was able to work it out (for now) using your excellent SiteOrigin CSS plugin.

    The new plugin is very helpful.
