    Hi Nahdi

    Thanks for reaching out.

Head over to Settings > General and check the site title listed there.

dear Andrew, I already had tried that. its not working. that’s why I asked help. Do you know how can I fix it?

  3. Andrew Misplon Staff

Next, try heading over to Pages > Home and edit the page. Scroll down past the main editor field and check the WordPress SEO fields provided there. There is a title field. Check the contents.

there is a space asking:Title Tag (optional) – Enter your post/page title
another space asking:Meta Description (optional) – Enter your post/page meta description
I entered different names there and updated but nothing changed. It means that its not working. maybe I need
    some codes?

    A few ideas:

    1. Try testing with all non-SiteOrigin plugins de-activated at once. Does the title tag change? This would tell you something if it did.

    2. Have you ever modified theme files at a code level? If so, we might re-install the theme to remove any problems that could have caused.

    3. If no luck with the above then I could login and take a look.

unfortunately I couldn’t do anything and I don’t understand much about codes. I trust you Andrew. I am going to give my username and password. Hope you can fix it.

Thanks looks fixed now. As long as you leave SEO Title Tag de-activated it’s all good. WordPress SEO (Yoast) can handle that functionality.

No dear Andrew. Still when I type http://www.ovenstar.com.au in Google, I see duplicated title which is “oven cleaning Newcastle oven cleaning Newcastle ” can you fix it? Also I have lost my meta description

It'll take a little bit of time for Google to update. To confirm the problem is fixed, just check the title bar in your browser. To add a meta description, ensure WordPress SEO is activated and go to Pages > Home and add one. If WordPress SEO can't be seen there then click Screen Options top right and ensure its enabled.

    Thanks dear Andrew :)
