How do I prevent the Vantage theme from auto-updating. Seems like it just happened and lost all my css changes. My site isn’t live yet and I will be using a child theme but not yet.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I’ve never seen a theme auto-update. Some hosts auto-update WordPress, the core. You can perhaps reach out to your hosts and ask them if they’re auto running theme updates. It isn’t a setting or something we’re doing on our side.

    All WordPress themes completely overwrite their own folder during theme updates. We highly recommend you make use of a Custom CSS plugin like SiteOrigin CSS to make your CSS changes: Page: SiteOrigin CSS Editor. Let me know if you need any advice in that regard. SiteOrigin CSS docs can be found here: Page: Getting Started. All your additions would then be update safe.
