Hi
Thanks for letting us know about this issue. I have replicated the problem. I’ve asked our developer Alex to take a look. As soon as we know more we’ll let you know.
Hi,
I’ve run some tests and I’ve identified what’s going on. I’ve come up with a fix that’ll be included in a future version of SiteOrigin Page Builder, but I’ve prepared you a patched version of SiteOrigin Page Builder you can use now. You can download it by clicking here.
Before proceeding, do a backup.
Navigate to PluginsInstalled Plugins and deactivate Page Builder by SiteOrigin, then delete it. Scroll to the top of the page and click Add New, Upload Plugin. Upload siteorigin-panels.2.13.2.1.zip and when prompted, activate SiteOrigin Page Builder.
Kind regards,
Alex
Thank you for your replay but…
Sorry, still the same issue after installing your patch…
Please see the screenshots :
The franche page template : French page template
When a click the + button to add a translated page : English page attempt
Maybe i’m wrong but i thought it would duplicate the template and then i would just have to put the english translations…
Hi, thanks for testing our solution.
Alex is investigating the changes Polylang has made and what we’re able to do from our side. At the moment, the solution Alex came up with only applies to the Classic Editor. At the moment, it’s unlikely we’ll be able to develop a similar method for the Block Editor.
To duplicate the page manually you could edit the French page and click LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout. Next, edit the English page. Insert a SiteOrigin Layout Block and import the French layout by going to LayoutsImport/ExportImport Layout.
ok thank you i’ll do it width export/import layout tool as you suggest.
thank you for your reply and advise to find a solution
Thanks for the update and for your understanding. If any follow-up queries arise, please, let us know.
