The More Tag on Sidebars

I would like to keep some news segments on the sidebar. So I added the Layout Builder widget to the sidebar and added my news segments, but I am unable to use the More Tag and to display the news items in multiple pages. Does the More Tag work on sidebars?

    Thanks for posting your question.

    The more quicktag only works with posts, it doesn’t work with static content. Widgets for SiteOrigin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-for-siteorigin/ has a Blog widget you can try. You could create a category for the posts you’d like to show in the sidebar and then use the Blog widget to display those posts.
